The Birds in
a Basket creations have been designed by a skilled artist with over 30 years
experience in the field of animal artistry. His works, well known in the
Northeast, are on display in nature centers and natural history exhibits
along the Jersey Coast and in New York metropolitan area museums. His works
have been commissioned by Government agencies for nature studies and programs
as well as by private collectors across the country.
Among all the animal studies, birds are his specialty, made with careful precision, and meticulous attention to detail. Many of his works are award winning and featured in magazine articles for their unique, lifelike quality and innovative design. His inspiration comes from nature and the American down home country charm that influenced his life as a young man. These, and all of his designs, are realistic impressions of wildlife animals and birds in a natural setting. The artists' favorite subjects, the Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, and the
